Pelo quinto ano consecutivo, o concurso e a consequente exposição “Astronomy Photographer of the Year” 2013 recompensa os astrofotógrafos amadores de todo o mundo.
Mais 1200 fotografias foram apresentadas a concurso. O vencedor será conhecido a 18 de setembro e as fotos serão expostas, a partir do dia 19, no Royal Observatory Greenwich, no Reino Unido.
