Galeria: Papoilas como homenagem pelos 100 anos da I Guerra Mundial

Uma multidão juntou-se em Londres para ver, pela última vez, o jardim de papoilas de cerâmica “plantado” em homenagem aos mortos britânicos na I Guerra Mundial.

Milhares de pessoas lotaram as ruas adjacentes à Torre de Londres para ver a exposição que antecede o Dia do Armistício (11 de novembro). A instalação, com uma papoila de cerâmica por cada um dos 888.246 soldados britânicos caídos, é da autoria do artista plástico Paul Cummins.
